Actually, in my drawer xD. But meh, I could consider that as my bookshelf.
Baking from my Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan
Oh my goodness. I love this book! I bought it on a bargain bookstore, so that made me love this book more. This is where I got the recipe of the cheesecake that I live off on! It has a ton of recipes from, quick breads, tarts and pies, cakes and cookies. You'll love the basics section too. The sauces and crusts. Lovely. What do I recommend from this book? Hmm, the cheesecake, of course. Fresh Mango Bread, Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies and the Creamy Lemon Tart.
Dessert FourPlay by Johnny Iuzzini
I was in awe when I first opened this book! I haven't actually tried anything from this book yet but it's so visually appealing that I couldn't resist buying it! I want to try his Frozen Cranberry Nougat (doesn't that sound delicious?) soon. How soon, I don't know xD. My favorite section in this book would probably have to be the Building Blocks. Yep. Building Blocks. All the basic recipes (except for the crusts, of course) sound delicious just by itself. If the basics are that good, what's the entire fourplay gonna taste like?
Macarons by Cecile Cannone
The new addition to my cookbook collection. Haven't tried anything yet. It includes a macaron troubleshoot section for the macaron-phobic like me. The book provides two options for macaron making; the Italian Meringue method and the commonly used French Meringue method. Which one would I prefer? I'd prefer the French method but that doesn't seem to work well for me. I have successfully made macarons using the Italian method but hmmm, I don't quite like the texture. Maybe that's just me again, failing. xD
Baked: New Frontiers in Baking by Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito
Two words: Brewers Blondies. That's all I'm saying.
I have a lot more books on my shelf/drawer but these three are my favorites, so I decided to share them with you! Actually, the recipes I'm gonna feature here on my blog would definitely come from these four.

Hello World!
Welcome to my blog! I'm Morgan. I'm a Pastry Arts student, living off of selling cheesecakes. xD
So what's this blog about? Mainly personal, about my dreams and stuff. Where I want to go, what I want to be and where I want to work. Blogging life plans, brilliant! Of course It's going to be about pastries too! And awesome tools and ingredients I have tried.
There you go! I have introduced myself. Now it's your turn.
Ciao!
